Check-In / Check-Out (RV & Tent) – Check-in at 1pm, check-out at 12 noon.
Check-In / Check-Out (Cabins) – Check-in at 3pm, check-out at 11am.
Removal from Park – Loud or vulgar language, inappropriate conduct, violation of park rules, etc., as determined by management, may result in removal from the park without a refund.
Speed Limit – 10mph. Please pay close attention, as our park allows traffic in both directions and we have guests walking and playing throughout the park.
Pets – All pet droppings must be picked up immediately. Poop bags are located throughout the park; please use them and dispose of waste in the dumpsters or trash cans. Pets must be under the owner's control at all times and are not allowed to roam the park unattended — a leash is required when walking pets. Current rabies vaccination is required per Alabama state law. No excessive barking or aggressive pets, as determined by management, are allowed in the park. Pets are not permitted in bathrooms, playground areas, cabins, or buildings. If you have more than 2 pets, please contact management at 404.65.2070 for approval. Service dogs have full access in accordance with Alabama and federal regulations.
Children – Guests are responsible for the behavior of minors under their care. Please ensure proper supervision at playgrounds, the splash pad, the game room, and other amenities throughout the park.
Visitors – Your visitors are always welcome at Heritage Acres Park but must register at our office. Registered guests and their visitors are expected to read and follow all campground rules. Visitors are required to purchase a day pass, and all visitors must leave the campground by 9pm.
Golf Carts – Must maintain the 10mph speed limit throughout the park. Minors must be under adult supervision.
Trash – Please do not dispose of cigarette butts on the grounds. Dumpsters are for household trash bags only — no mattresses, large objects, etc. One dumpster is located next to the propane station and another across from site 47. A recycling container for paper, plastic, and aluminum is available near the propane station; please use it when possible, and be sure cardboard boxes are broken down.
Grills – Do not place grills on picnic tables or marble light fixtures.
Fires – Per Alabama Forestry Department guidance, no outside firewood may be brought into the campground; firewood is available for purchase on-site. Deluxe and Premium sites are provided with fire rings — please don't use them as trash cans. Monthly guests may use fire pits if they are above ground and not makeshift, and are responsible for cleaning out and properly disposing of ashes and coals (never on the grounds).
Parking – Do not park on grass or in an open site, and do not park an RV over the curb at back-in sites. Maximum of 2 vehicles per site (car, truck, small utility trailer, etc.); additional parking is available at an additional cost.
Site Appearance – Not allowed: outside refrigerators or freezers, makeshift porches or steps, inoperative vehicles, window AC units, towels or blankets covering windows, makeshift repairs, pet fences left up for extended periods, storage units, laundry drying outside, clutter, and other unsightly items as determined by management. Commercial-style RV skirting may be used in winter months only. RVs must be clean and well maintained, and nothing (satellite dishes, solar lighting, grills, etc.) may be left on the grass so we can mow. Guests with RVs 10 years or older must be approved by management, with approval required annually.
RV & Vehicle Washing – Not permitted.
Camping Units – Homemade conversions of vans, buses, trailers, or scratch-built RVs require approval before entering the park. No tractor-trailer cabs are allowed unless they are single-axle and pulling an RV.
Leave No Trace – Keep gravel in gravel areas, and please don't litter (including cigarette butts), break tree branches, or mark tables. Visit www.LNT.org to learn more.
Fireworks – Not allowed to be displayed in the park.
Firearms – Must be compliant with state and federal regulations and permits. No open carry permitted in the park.
